In October 2004 the Conductor VMS 5.0 (OIS 46) series console was released. Conductor VMS Series (OIS 46 Server) is based on the DS15, 1GHz Alpha Server processor. Version 5.0 software is also compatible with the OIS45 (DS10 500) and OIS44 (DMCC 266/500) hardware platforms. Server operating system has been updated to Open VMS Version 7.3.2. Client software (Version 2.3) supports the Windows XP Professional and Windows 2000 operating systems.
New Features:
- Event messages for control actions identify the operator and CRT window.
- ADP blink continues until acknowledged.
- Provides shared printer support for operator actions in multiple console systems.
- Provides Telnet Print Server support for print screen and line printing without external terminal server DECServer700.
- Support the new BRC 300 Harmony controller.
Upgrades are available for OIS45, OIS44, OIS43 and OIS42. Client hardware upgrades are available for OIC43 and OIC42 series.
